Confidence for Women: Which Voice Do You Give the Most Power To?

Do you have that mean birdie on your shoulder? I know I do. I know I have that inner voice that tells I could do something better. The one, the birdie, that tells you all the reasons why an idea won’t work? The one that tells you why you should follow what’s been decided, simply because? Simply because someone smarter or prettier may have decided IT so?
Thing is we all have that inner voice that kindly reminds us of all of the reasons not to do something. Yet, we fail to remember we also have a positive birdie encouraging us all the way along.
This mean birdie sitting on your shoulder telling you all the negative you need to hear has a lot of power. Truth is, he has this power because you gave it to him. You may have done so unknowingly, but today, you can give that other birdie on your other shoulder more attention and more power.
Yes! That idea can work! Yes! You can do something else right now! Yes! You look fabulous! Yes! Yes! Yes!!
This birdie has power too, once you give power to him. It may be easier to listen to the one that shoots you and your ideas down, but this other one will be that much more fun to play with! Listen to him, take action based on these words and have fun!
